Born from a problem too many people face alone

In over 10 years of clinical work, Dr. Uday Kiran kept seeing the same overlooked truth: psychiatric illness and addiction are among the most common health conditions, yet the least addressed. Too many people suffer in silence because of stigma, low awareness and little access to structured care.

He chose psychiatry and de-addiction not just as a speciality but as a mission: to restore dignity, functionality and hope to patients and their families. Bharosa was founded on that promise.

Today we combine psychiatry, psychotherapy, detoxification and rehabilitation within one secure, monitored campus, with round-the-clock medical supervision and three branches serving families across Hyderabad.

  • Psychiatrist-led

Founded and led by Dr. Uday Kiran, MD Psychiatry, Osmania Medical College.

  • One campus

Psychiatry, psychotherapy, detox and rehabilitation under one roof.

  • Round-the-clock

24/7 medical supervision and emergency retrieval.

  • Across Hyderabad

Three branches serving families across the city.

What we stand for

Our mission

To restore dignity, functionality and hope to patients and their families.

Our vision

Every individual, regardless of age, gender or social status, deserves access to quality mental health and de-addiction care.

  • Human-centred care

Every patient is treated as a person first, never as a diagnosis.

  • Clinical excellence

Structured, evidence-based protocols with round-the-clock supervision.

  • Ethics & confidentiality

100% confidentiality for every patient and family.

  • Family healing

Recovery rebuilds families too, so they are part of every plan.

  • Breaking stigma

Awareness and access, so no patient feels unseen or unsupported.

Our approach to care

Five kinds of care, one plan built around you

No single treatment heals the mind on its own. We blend five forms of care into one plan, shaped around each patient and their family.

  • Medication

Carefully prescribed and monitored medicines that stabilise mood, cravings and sleep.

  • Counselling

One-to-one and family sessions that rebuild trust and communication.

  • Behavioural therapy

CBT and skills training to change the thought patterns that keep people stuck.

  • Structured routines

Sleep, meals, yoga and activity on a steady daily rhythm that resets habits.

  • Long-term aftercare

Follow-ups and relapse prevention that continue well after discharge.

One coordinated team, around the clock

  • Psychiatrists
  • Physicians
  • Clinical psychologists
  • Nutritionists
  • Surgeons
  • Orthopedicians
  • Trained nursing professionals
  • Rehabilitation & therapy teams
